Great places for guests from abroad.
You must plan ahead to visit Alanya Kalesi. You can start by visiting Kızılkule, Alanya Shipyard and Tophane in the harbor port section. Another suggestion is if you go uphill by car, walk down.
Alanya Castle above consists of three parts. These are İçkale, Ehmedek (Ortakale) and Exterior. While visiting these sections, Akşebe Masjid and Türbesi and Süleymaniye Mosque are the works to visit.
Note: You can go to Ehmedek Kalesini on condition that you will receive Alanya Kalesin at the entrance and within the same day of the ticket. So do not throw your ticket. There is a separate entrance fee for the Red Crescent below.
Alanya Archeology Museum
The Alanya Archeology Museum is located in the center of Alanya. It is close to Damlataş Cave and it is very easy to reach.
Renovated in recent years. It is a very beautiful museum with garden arrangements and salon arrangements. The richness of the exhibited works is another reason to visit. If you are traveling to Alanya, you should definitely visit.
The symbolic state of the museum is very well preserved. The 52-centimeter bronze Heracles statue dated to the 2nd century BC is exhibited in a separate saloon.
The garden of the museum is organized as open exhibition; it is desired to describe the necropolis of the Roman period with locally specific ovotheca (bone-ash preservation box). Ostotekler forms an important part of the museum collection, where original examples can be seen.
In addition, Islamic tombstones from the Seljuk, Ottoman and first years of the Republic, Roman column headings and Islamic period inscriptions are also exhibited. On the other side of the garden, there is an “agricultural corner” where the tools used in agriculture include olive oil production during the Roman period.
